Magical Week

Heaven

I can't even begin to say how much I love the food here in Paris AND I have not eaten in a restaurant yet. The fruits and vegetables here taste amazing, perfect sweet red strawberries, vine ripened tomatoes that taste like the earth, cheese; wonderful salty creamy and stinky cheese oh and lets not forget the crunchy, soft baguettes. I absolutely love going to the farmers market and picking out the legumes(vegetables) for our dinner - eggplant, zucchini, garlic, onions, carrots, oh I could go on but I will stop, well there is the fresh whole chickens.....

This has been a non stop week for us, Paris Disneyland,the Eiffel Tower, the Marais and so much more. Paris Disneyland was interesting and had it not been for Tatum's excitement and joy of seeing Mickey and Minnie and riding the tea cups I would have been disappointed. The park is smaller, the "magic" exposed, we literally could see the ceiling tiles and vents inside Small World, there were weeds and cigarette butts, there were no mouse ears, no characters walking around, the cast members were few and they weren't smiling, AND the worst part was no hitchhiking ghost in the Phantom Manor aka Haunted House. We tried not to compare the parks but there are those things you just expect but Tatum loved every minute of the day and thats the real magic.

We have all seen 100's of pictures of the Eiffel Tower ( now you will see mine) but until you see it in person you have no idea. What a site, this giant tower in the city center is breath taking and sort of romantic plus they were showing tennis on a large TV screen - how European.

We have less than 2 weeks left here before we head off to The Netherlands, and we still have so much to see and do: museums, bookstores, coffee, hot chocolate, macroons, snails, beer and wine the list is infinite. Oh and then there is doing all this with a toddler.
